Conceived over two decades back, the brand Heena Kochhar has developed a unique style that has evolved and branched out around the world. Heena believes that in-spite of the huge foreign aesthetic stimulus, India has and always will define an identity for itself.
The brand has a deep understanding of ancient designs along with traditional crafts, and it perfectly brings them together in a contemporary design aesthetic.
A design graduate from NIFT, Delhi, Heena draws her inspiration from the charm of the bygone era. The brand specialises in textiles such as Chanderis, Handlooms, Benarsi Zari, Mullmulls, Ajrakh Prints, and Shibori and Tie Dye. Heena Kochhar’s signature style has evolved from creating classic ready to wear garments, to intricately embellished formal ensembles oriented towards the Asian diaspora. The designer specialises in bespoke gota and dori embroideries.
Heena believes in building patronage of craftspeople and works with rural talents, creating development in undeveloped & developing areas with artisans. Along with an array of different ensembles, the signature Heena Kochhar chogas are some of the most gorgeous pieces a woman can own.
